A celebration of life for Regina Eades, 65, West Plains, will be held December 17, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
She was born March 11, 1957, at West Plains, and passed away suddenly early Monday morning. On June 3, 1979, she was married to Bob Eades, who preceded her in death.
Regina is survived by her children, Trenton Eades and wife Susie, and Madison Reid and husband Wyatt; brother, Greg Whitsell; mother, Susie Whitsell; sister-in-law, Rita Mueller; nieces, Nicole Whitsell and Michele Noser and husband Brian; nephews, Jacob Whitsell and Shawn Mueller and wife Ivana.
She is preceded in death by her father, Phill Whitsell and brother-in-law, Edward Mueller.
Regina was very involved in the family business of raising English Bulldogs. She always followed up with new owners to ensure each puppy arrived with no issues and established many new friendships with the new owners. Having lived in West Plains all her life, she had many friends and would always have time to stop and chat. She was very proud of her son, Trenton, who carried on the family business of granite fabrication and cattle farming after the passing of Bob. Regina was excited and looking forward to the birth of Madison’s baby in January, her first grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to the OMC Foundation or Evergreen Cemetery and can be left at Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.

I am speechless. I had missed seeing Regina‘s posts on Facebook lately, but I just thought she had been extra busy. She and I hadn’t seen each other in years and we got together last Christmas. We had a bite to eat, a cocktail and a lot of laughs. Regina is one of the kindest, smartest and strongest women I know. I’m devastated. Kids, your mother loved you so much and she was so proud of you. My heartfelt sympathies to you and to all of us who love Regina. Rest in Paradise my sweet friend gone far too soon. ?

I am so sad to learn of Regina’s passing. We worked together at FundRaiser Software, many years ago. Even though, I left the West Plains area, we still stayed in contact. In 2018, she and another friend from West Plains came out to visit me in Flagstaff. We took the train to the Grand Canyon, and visited Sedona and Monument Valley. Regina always had such a zest for life. She was proud of her children, and always spoke highly of them. Regina was always a shining light during her life. I don’t think that Regina knew a stranger, and if she did, she soon made them a friend. I will miss you dear friend. Until we meet again.

It’s with a heavy heart that I write my condolences. Regina and I spent many a happy day riding horses in the summer when we were kids. Without a doubt, she was a blessing to know and a gift in everyone’s life. She will be missed. Blessings on your family as you send her to the other side of Easter!

So sorry. I have been away from West Plains since high school graduation, but came across Regina’s page on FB a few years back while looking to reconnect with the people I went to hs with. She graciously accepted my friend request and I have seen and read of the tidbits of her life since. Had not seen her post very much in the last few months. I thought she was just taking a break from social media or very busy. Prayers for all the family and friends. She will be missed, but I believe the day will come when we all get to join her in the home Jesus went to prepare for us. Thank God every day because we don’t know when he we call for us.
