     Graveside Services for Cecil Jay Hodge, 83, West Plains, Missouri, will be 3:00pm Friday, August 2, 2013, at the Stateline cemetery, Moko, Arkansas, with the Reverend Charles Barnett officiating under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.

     Viewing and visitation will be 9am-2pm Friday

     He was born the son of the late Eldie Lee Hodge and Loria Barnett Hodge, on August 23, 1929 in Moko, Arkansas and died July 25, 2013 in West Plains, MO.

     He was united in marriage May 6, 1954 in Salem, Arkansas to Myrtle Ruth Morris.

     He is survived by one son, James Hodge and friend Missy Fetzer, St Louis, Missouri; two daughters, Linda Weida and Charlotte Lemons, Belle, Missouri; one brother, Lonnie Hodge, Jonesboro, Arkansas; five sisters, Nancy Young, West Plains, Missouri, Grace Mann, Springfield, Missouri, Pearl Davis, Arnold, Missouri, Anna Brucker and Martha Britt; 11 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Ruth Morris Hodge; his parents Eldie Lee Hodge and Loria Barnett Hodge; two sons-in-law, Edward Weida and Sonny Lemons; two brothers, Charlie and Francis Hodge; two sisters, Dorothy Crawford and May Sandridge; four infant siblings, Frankie Sidney Hodge, Eldie James Hodge, Mary Ann Hodge and Lora May Hodge.

     He was employed by Sunnen Products for many years and was a gardener. He was of the Pentecostal Faith and will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
