Rhonda Jane Waggoner, passed peacefully with her family by her side on July 10, 2024 in West Plains, MO. She was born to Veda and Boyd Kinder on October 14th, 1964 in Salem, Arkansas. On December 2nd, 1983 she married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Kirby.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Veda Kinder, her brother Roger Kinder, her mother and father-in-law, Raymond and Mary Waggoner and her grandson Jackson Waggoner.

Rhonda is survived by her loving husband, Kirby Waggoner of 40 years, and their four children: Shane Waggoner and his wife Ruth, along with their children Nylah, Gavin, Andelynn, and Peyton; Kelby Waggoner and his wife Bethany, with their children Chevy, Remmy, and Hadley; Dylan Waggoner and his fiancé Lindsey Hicks; and their expecting daughter Lexie Collins, married to Jesse, their children Jragen, Jagger, and Jazlie. She also leaves behind a special brother and sister-in-law, Don and Vicki Brotherton, and Shirley Harper whom have always been like siblings to her. She leaves behind several other siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close family friends.

A skilled cosmetologist, Rhonda dedicated her career to bringing out the beauty in others, which she did with both passion and grace. Her love for cosmetology was second only to her devotion to her family and her faith. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Rhonda cherished her time spent spoiling her kids and grandkids, relaxing on the beach, cooking, and attending local sporting events with her husband. These activities brought her immense joy and allowed her to connect deeply with those she loved.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at The New Hope Baptist Church, West Plains, Missouri.

There will be a visitation time from 10:00 to 12:00 on the same day at the church.

Burial will be in the Waggoner Family Cemetery, West Plains, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains, Missouri.

    Rhonda was a wonderful classmate. Everyone in the Salem class of 83 will miss her and carry great memories of her. We are praying for Gods peace for all of her family.

    Kirby and family. Losing a wife and Mother is stressful, but we all know we have great memories of Rhonda. Prayers for peace in your hearts. She is at peace,no pain.

      Rhonda was a long time friend..I thought a lot of Rhonda.She always looked out for the younger children on the bus..Rhondas mother was my Baby sitter(We loved her chocolate gravy..) Rhonda was my cosmetoligist in my adult years..Rhonda was a loving wife and mother..She will be very missed by every one who loved her …Fly high my friend!!
