Matthew Colin Boler was born January 13, 1977 in Salem Arkansas, the son of Gary Colin Boler and Joann Boler, and departed this life on May 23, 2021 at the age of 44 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joann Smith Parker Boler; his paternal and maternal grandparents; and his best friend, Andy Bair.
Matthew is survived by his father, Gary Colin Boler and wife Mary of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; two brothers, Gary Clinton Boler and wife Carol of Elizabethton, Tennessee and Jonathan Eric Boler and wife Alicia of Paragould, Arkansas; one step-brother, Israel Guidry and wife Lynn; one step-sister, Hope Lyon and husband Dustin; one paternal uncle, Larry Boler and wife Theta of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; one maternal aunt, Linda Parker of Indiana; one paternal aunt, Judy Holmes of Thayer, Missouri; other relatives; and many friends.
Matthew was an avid Razorback “Hog” fan. He loved music, playing his guitar and writing poetry. Matthew enjoyed the ocean beach, nature and all its creations.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home in Thayer, Missouri.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas at a later date with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.

He was my little brother and friend. My life will never be the same because a bright and warm presence is gone. We inspired each other to do creative things, talked about goofy stuff. I will always have the urge to call and talk to him but I will no more hear his voice. I know I’m not the only one to feal this way.
