Jimmie Keen

    Jimmie Keen, age 76, of Thayer, Missouri, passed away October 17, 2024, at OHC in West Plains, Missouri. He was born September 2, 1948, to John Monroe and Ferdell August (Hensley) Keen in Sleeper, Missouri.

  Jimmie had four children Jodi, Jeremy, Jamie, and Joey. He liked to go fishing, watching movies and collecting coins.

  He loved scraping metal, mowing grass and playing pool. He was very interested in the Viking culture and would have liked to take a cruise on a Viking ship. Jimmie will be missed by all that knew him.

  He is survived by his four children Jodi Woodson, of Bush, Colorado, Jeremey Keen, of Thayer, Missouri, Jamie Keen, wife Julie(Smith), of Sully, Iowa, and Joey Keen, wife January (Osborn), of  Oskaloosa, Iowa; nine grandchildren Brandon, Jennifer, Christina, Christopher, Cody, Daniel, Jessica and Ashton; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother Kenneth Keen, wife Cherry(Mustard) of Apopka, Florida; one sister Mercell McVey(Keen), of West Plains, Missouri; nieces and nephews Wayne Keen, wife Cindy, Yvette Desota(Keen), husband Mike, Diana Acklin(Chowning), husband Jerry, Donna Lee (Chowning), Glen McVey, and June Taylor(McVey), husband Steven; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

  He is preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother Tommy Keen.

Family will have a private memorial service at a later time.
