Jackie Edward Brooks, 80, Pomona, Missouri passed away at his home September 5, 2024.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri.
There will be a visitation time from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. before the service.
Burial will be at Mackey Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains, Missouri.

I am sure that Jack will be remembered by many as a man that wore several different “hats”. I will remember Jack as my second, oldest brother. And, as many of my six brothers, Jack had the knowledge and the willingness to help with almost anything – whether it was physically pitching in or sharing his vast knowledge in so many areas. He will be missed, but never forgotten by those of us that call him family and friend.

Jack was my older brother and we had alot of adventures growing up together in Arkansas and Michigan. He was very handy with natural skills to repair many things whether it was a bicycle or automobile. He was also a generous person who helped neighbors with their problems as well. He will be missed by his other siblings.
