Graveside services for Helen Ramsey, 68, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Oak Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Rick Rutledge officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
She was born the daughter of the late Herman Mills and Pauline Cantrell Mills, on November 23, 1946 in Oregon County, Missouri and died March 25, 2015 in West Plains, Missouri.
She was united in marriage November 9, 1963 in Thayer, Missouri to James Ramsey.
She is survived by her husband, James Ramsey, of the home, West Plains, Missouri; two sons, Greg Ramsey and wife, Anne, Springfield, Missouri and Jeff Ramsey and wife, Conda, West Plains, Missouri; three sisters, June Wyatt, Koshkonong, Missouri, Janice Bentley, Springfield, Missouri, and Hazel Estep, West Plains, Missouri, and three grandchildren, Erica Ramsey and Andrew Ramsey, Springfield, Missouri, and Cameron Ramsey, West Plains, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Rita Daugherty and Georgia Reef.
Helen enjoyed growing flowers and working in her flower garden. She loved to cook and to spend time with her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and very proud grandmother, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, West Plains, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

Just heard about Helen’s passing from Aunt Joyce my prayer and thought are with you
at this time. To much time last passed that can never be recovered but she was my cousin
and my mother love Helen very much and she told me many times how much she love her
little Helen. Now maybe she will be waiting at heaven gates to welcome her home .
