Edith Joanne Bridges

Edith Joanne Bridges, daughter of the late Elmer Holesapple and Edith McGowan Holesapple, was born February 17, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri and died April 1, 2015 in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 62 years.

She was united in marriage to Kenneth Roy Worthy, who preceded her in death. A few years later she was united in marriage to Joe Dale Bridges, who also preceded her in death.

She is survived by three children, Sarah Doss and husband, Rusty, West Plains, Missouri, Kandi Kinder and husband, Chris, Thayer, Missouri, and Kenny Worthy and wife, Paula, Alton, Missouri; three step-children, Joey Bridges, West Plains, Tina Robertson and husband, Mike, Thayer, Missouri, and Kevin Bridges and wife, April, Thayer, Missouri; three brothers, John Holesapple and wife, Patsy, Koshkonong, Missouri, Riley Holesapple and wife, Pat, Thayer, Missouri, and Scott Holesapple and wife, Sharon, Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Nancy Hibbits, West Plains, Missouri;, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both husbands; her parents; one stepson, Rick Bridges; one brother, Ronald Holespapple, and two sisters, Janice Newport and Mary Lynn Holesapple.

She loved to fish, work in her garden, cook, and was a great seamstress. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
