Dora Markum, daughter of the late Guy Scaggs and Orbrie Crossnoe Scaggs, was born September 9, 1920 in Valliant, Oklahoma and died September 29, 2014 at the age of 94 years.
She was united in marriage to Cledyth Markum, who preceded her in death in 2009.
She is survived by two children, Donna Marie Low and Robert Joseph Grollmes; one sister, Mary Scaggs, Everett, Washngton; one sister-in-law, Jane Scaggs, Peace Valley, Missouri; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; six brothers, and four sisters.
She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Graveside services will he held Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
