Brenden Ellis Hedden was born the son of Jeffrey Van Hedden and Susan Kathleen (Calfee) Hedden on March 1, 2000, in West Plains, Missouri, and departed this life on April 10, 2016, at his home in White Church, Missouri, at the age of 16 years.
He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Sue Hedden of the family home in White Church; one brother, Kolton Van Hedden and one sister, Paige Elaine Hedden, both of White Church; paternal grandparents, Richard and Joyce Hedden of Thayer, Missouri; maternal grandmother, Mary Calfee of West Plains, Missouri; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wendell Calfee.
Brenden was special and loved cuddling with his Mom. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, and grandson and will truly be missed.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri, with Erman Croney officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer on Tuesday evening, April 12th, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Burial will be in the Thayer Cemetery, with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.

Jeff and Susan, I just learned of your son’s death yesterday late afternoon. I wish I could express my sympathy for and your family. Just know that Brenden is indeed in a most wonderful place, and you will see him again. God bless you!
