Bonnie J. Parton was born the daughter of Norvell Pruitt and Jewel Rogers Pruitt on July 27, 1926 in Greene County, Arkansas, and departed this life on March 27, 2020, in Thayer, Missouri, at the age of 93 years.
She was united in marriage on August 2, 1943, to William C. Parton, who preceded her in death on April 5, 1923.
She is survived one son, Jerrel Parton and wife, Louise of Roebuck, South Carolina; one daughter, Jane Yancey and husband, John of Thayer, Missouri; two granddaughters, Wendi Bushong and Heather Nuckols; two grandsons, William Jerrel Parton and Roy Parton; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Nelda Jo Juergensmeyer of Wentzville, Missouri; a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Parton; her parents, Narvel and Jewel Pruitt; three brothers, Junior, Bobby and James Pruitt; one sister, Katherine Weir.
Bonnie was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Brandsville, Missouri. She will be remembered as a loving wife, grandmother and great grandmother and will truly be missed by all.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Browns Chapel Cemetery in Paragould, Arkansas with Jerrel Parton officiating.
Burial will be in Browns Chapel Cemetery in Paragould, Arkansas with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.
