Ronald Wayne Sanders was born in McKinney, Texas, the son of Asa Paxton Sanders and Laura Redden Sanders on January 21, 1935, and departed this life on December 22, 2018 at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri, at the age of 83 years.
He was united in marriage to Martha Anna White on June 27, 1957 in Houston, Texas. She preceded him in death on December 4, 2000.
He is survived by his friend and companion, Don McCaslin of the home, in Koshkonong, Missouri; his daughter, Vivian Jones and husband, Joe, of Shawnee, Kansas; one brother, Asa Sanders, Jr. and wife, Neva, of Houston, Texas; one sister, Loretta Sanders of Willis, Texas; two grandchildren, Dean Jones and wife, Andrea, and Dave Jones, both of Shawnee, Kansas; two great grandsons, Greyson and Sawyer; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Sanders; parents, Asa and Laura Sanders; one sister, Janice Sanders; two brothers, Darwin and Marshall Sanders; grandparents and many other family members.
Ronald had a talent for upholstery. He loved making old furniture look like new. He even owned and operated his own upholstery store for many dedicated years.
He also loved spending his time outdoors, tending to his flowers and growing his own vegetables.
Ronald was a loving companion, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.

She was born the daughter of the late Finis King and Bessie Highfill King, on February 18, 1935 in Wilderness, Missouri and died December 21, 2018 in West Plains, Mo.
She was united in marriage November 21, 1953 in West Plains, Missouri to Floyd Goss, who preceded her in death. She was later united in marriage July 22, 1959 in West Plains, Missouri to Eldon Tinsley, who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by four children, Michael Goss, Hamby, Missouri; Judith Male, West Plains, Missouri; Eldon Tinsley and wife Terry Sue, Koshkonong, Missouri, and Moses Tinsley and wife Cynthia, West Plains, Missouri; eight siblings, Othel King, Kansas City, Missouri, Glenna Collins and husband Dwight, West Plains, Missouri, Marilyn Disney, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Karolyn Hudson, Tulsa, Oklahoma, James King and wife Diane, state of Kentucky, Myron King and wife Janice, Thomasville, Missouri, J. L. King and wife Louise, Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, and Kay Elliott and husband Dwayne, Thomasville, Missouri; twelve grandchildren, Melody Goss, Robin McKeag, Barrett Goss, Amanda Collins, Zabrina Tinsley, Kristopher Tinsley, Michael Tinsley, Joshuah Tinsley, Mozes Tinsley, Scott Male, Claudia LeAnne Tinsley,and Kasey Tinsley; forty great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both of her husbands; one son Robert Mark Tinsley; one brother, Robert W. King, and one grandson, Michael Tinsley.
She had attended the First Congregational Methodist Church in West Plains when she was able to be out and about. She attended the church at West Vue Nursing Home for the last year.

Randall Bruce McPherson (Randy) was born November 13, 1954 in Marietta, Georgia to James Richard (JR) McPherson and Shirley Jean McPherson. He passed peacefully December 19, 2018.
His family moved frequently before settling in Thayer, Missouri in 1963. In 1975, he joined the United States Air Force. While stationed at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, California, he met his life long love, Catharine Parker Verhines. They were married in 1978. He spent a year stationed at Osan Air Force Base in Korea, then was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. While living in Las Vegas, he had two children. After the service, he operated a drywall business in Las Vegas and was an over the road truck driver for a short period of time. In 1987, he moved to Northern California and worked for Parker Diving Service as a salvage scuba diver. In 1990, he moved his family back to Thayer, Missouri. He established McPherson Welding in 1992, which he operated until December 2013. He was diagnosed with ALS in May of 2014. He faced the disease with the same practical and realistic attitude that he applied to his life and work.
He loved his family, golfing, scuba diving, snow and water skiing, riding his motorcycle and traveling. He toured Colorado on a motorcycle in 2013. In 2015, it was a round trip road trip to Vancouver British Columbia, a cruise to Alaska and Mount Denali, visiting many national parks along the way.
He is survived by his wife of forty years, Catharine; two children: Trisha Fowler and husband, Tim, of Maize, Kansas, and Travis McPherson of Lawton, Oklahoma; three grandsons who adored their Grumpy Grampy, Dominic McPherson, Dylan Fowler and Nash Fowler; two brothers, Rodger McPherson and wife, Dawn, of Thayer, Missouri and Kevin McPherson of Paragould, Arkansas; his close friends, Paula and Bob Richardson and Delores Bennett; and a multitude of other relatives and friends, of whom many were very special to him. He was preceded in death by his parents James (JR) and Shirley McPherson.
A Celebration of Life will be held January 12, 2018 at 4:00pm at the Christian Activity Center in Thayer, Missouri.

Harry Threlkeld was born in Koshkonong, Missouri, the son of Henry Threlkeld and Clara Hampton Threlkeld on October 29, 1948, and departed this life on December 9, 2018 in Houston, Texas, at the age of 70 years.
He was united in marriage to Helga Zubke on December 26, 1972. She preceded him in death on February 16, 2018 after forty-six years of marriage.
He is survived by his daughter, Candis Threlkeld of Muncy, Pennsylvania; one brother, William Threlkeld of Koshkonong, Missouri; one grandson, William Bradshaw; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helga Threlkeld; his parents, Henry and Clara Threlkeld; his sister, Shirley Roberts; two brothers, James and Robert Threlkeld; and one infant sister.
Harry served his country in the U.S. Air Force from May 6, 1969 through April 29, 1975 and lived in twenty-four different locations with Helga. In 1976, he joined the Army Corps of Engineers and that work took him to Whitney, Texas in 1984. After his retirement from the Corps of Engineers, he opened his own business known as H Electric.
He was very involved in the Whitney community, volunteering wherever he was needed. He was especially active with the WIDS, where he worked as a volunteer with the band boosters in the concession stand for many years.
Harry was deeply devoted to his family. He will truly be missed by his family and all that knew him.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at 3:00 PM at Koshkonong Cemetery in Koshkonong, Missouri.

Helen Joyce Brown was born in Portageville, Missouri, the daughter of Robert Arnold and Elizabeth Doster Arnold on February 23, 1938, and departed this life on December 16, 2018 in Thayer, Missouri, at the age of 80 years.
She was united in marriage to Bobby Bivins on October 16, 1954 in Caruthersville, Missouri. On August 24, 2009, she was united in marriage to Howard Brown in Miami, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her seven children, Judy Johnson and fiancée, Craig Washam, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Shana Bivins of Thayer, Missouri, Teresa Burk and husband, Roy, of Thayer, Missouri, Pat Grimes of Thayer, Missouri, Timothy Bivins and wife, Thresa of Thayer, Missouri, Nathan Bivins of Thayer, Missouri, and John Bivins and wife, Donna, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; one sister, Mary Bivins and husband, Harold, of Wardell, Missouri; twenty-two grandchildren; six step grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; one step great grandchild; and one great-great grandchild; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Brown; her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Arnold; one son, Bobby Bivins, Jr.; two brothers, Billy Joe and Bobby Gene Arnold; and one grandchild, Philip Hahn.
Helen was a member of the Christian Tabernacle Church in Wirth, Arkansas.
She worked at St. John’s Hospital as a LPN, retiring after many years of dedicated service.
Helen was a diehard Oakland Raiders fan. She loved to brag whenever her team won.
Helen was deeply devoted to her family. She will truly be missed by her family and all that knew her.

Jessie Lenard Baldridge was born the son of George Baldridge and Orphie Jones Baldridge on September 13, 1936, in Sharp County, Arkansas and departed this life December 14, 2018, at his home in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, at the age of 82 years.
He was united in marriage to Erma Lee Price on August 25, 1956, in Sharp County, Arkansas. They were married for sixty-two loving and devoted years.
He is survived by his wife, Erma Lee Baldridge, of the home in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; three children, David Len Baldridge and Deb Childers of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Emma Sue Schuerenberg of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas and Sharon Kay Wrenfrow and husband, John, of Myrtle, Missouri; one brother, Omer Lee Baldridge of Wirth, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Davina, Alan, Jesse, Donnetta, Jonathan, Jessica, Jennifer and Trey; nine great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Orphie Baldridge; three brothers, Ermin, Willard, and Elvern Baldridge; three sisters, Roxie Houston, Rhoda Byers, and Nola Angotti; and one son-in-law, Herb Schuerenberg.
Lenard was a timber contractor for many years. As a young man he worked with his brothers locally buying tracts of timber and at one time operated a sawmill. He was skilled with his chainsaw and enjoyed working with the logging team. He and the gentleman who worked for him became lifelong friends. Later he worked with his son, David. Lenard worked hard and instilled a strong work ethic in his children. Through the years Lenard also operated a cattle farm.
After he retired from logging, Lenard and Erma bought a store in Hardy, Arkansas called Treasure Chest, which they were operating up to Lenard’s passing. At the store he sold cedar, walnut and many exotic woods, while Erma sold glass and antiques. He loved meeting and talking with the public as he sold his merchandise. His many customers became lifelong friends and enjoyed stopping just to visit with him.
He enjoyed woodworking and made cutting boards and birdhouses to sell at the store. He often made items as gifts, including wagon wheel picnic tables and custom mail boxes for his children. Lenard was a knowledgeable coin collector and enjoyed bargaining with customers.
Lenard was a Christian and attended the State Line Pentecostal Church. During his final illness, he was at peace with God and stated he was ready to go.
Lenard will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit. He loved people, whether a stranger or an old friend. He was especially close to his mother, his brothers, his sisters and their children. He always attended family reunions and made sure the family cemetery was cared for.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife and children. They traveled at least once each year. Even in poor health he traveled with his wife and daughters to visit his son on the pipeline in West Virginia in September of 2018. In early years, the family drove West to Colorado, Wyoming and California. He also cruised with his family to Alaska and flew to Niagara Falls in Canada and visited New York City and the Statue of Liberty and Washington D.C. He was the happiest when he was with his family.
He was a devoted and loving husband for sixty-two years. He and Erma spent their lives working together as a team. She was the light of his life and always answered him to the name of “honey”. He was also a loving father and grandfather. He will truly be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

She was born the daughter of the late Sherman Carroll and Vanetta Newsom Carroll on April 1, 1965 in West Plains, Missouri, and died December 13, 2018 at her home in West Plains, Missouri.
She was united in marriage January 2, 2005 in West Plains, Missouri
to Marty Mayfield.
She is survived by her husband, Marty Mayfield, West Plains, Missouri; two children, Corey Mayfield and wife Lacy, Rogerville, Missouri and Troy Mayfield and wife Sarah, Battlefield, Missouri; two brothers,Doug Carroll, Theodosia, Missouri and his son Blake Carroll and Kirk Carroll and his son Dillon Carroll, state of Colorado; six grandchildren, Myah Mayfield, Madi Mayfield, Olivia Mayfield, Marlie Sue Mayfield, and Trevor and Hayden Huxley.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sherman Carroll.
April worked for the State of Missouri for over twenty-five years. The last sixteen years she was a legal secretary for the presiding judge. She retired at the first of the year, 2018. She was very good and very professional in her field.
Before she retired she took several college courses to become a nurse after retirement. She aced all her classes including the caplin test. She was accepted into the last class to become a nurse but due to her health she wasn’t able to start. She hated that because she always finished what she started.
She was also secretary of the Ladies Republican Party, which her mother, Vanetta Carroll, started several years ago. She was a very smart and intelligent woman. When she wasn’t busy taking care of everybody else, she enjoyed cross-stitching, reading, playing the guitar and piano. She loved music. Throughout the years she collected many close and loving relationships, including her church family.
She was a loving friend, amazing wife, and a wonderful daughter and sister. She attended the Endurance Church in West Plains.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be in Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Douglas County, Missouri,
under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains, Missouri.

Limon Eugene Little was born in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of Cooledge Eugene Little and Dorothy Angela Bowen Little on May 4, 1951, and departed this life on December 9, 2018 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the age of 67 years.
He was united in marriage to Shirley Mason on March 23, 1988 in Salem, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Little of the home, in Thayer, Missouri; three sons, Limon Little of West Plains, Missouri, Mark Oliver of Thayer, Missouri and Charles Oliver and wife, Alie, of West Plains, Missouri; two daughters, Laura Brinkley and husband, Nick, of Wilmington, North Carolina and Melissa Little of Brooklyn, New York; eight grandchildren, Tiffany, Alex, Kortnie, Christopher, Lance, Madison, Cameron and Logan; one great grandchild, Oaklynn Rae; one cousin, Rebekah Maddery and husband, Robert; other relatives; and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cooledge and Dorothy Little; and one son, David Oliver.
Limon was a hardworking businessman, spending many years owning and operating a RV Park and Marina in Florida.
When he wasn’t working, he loved to spend his time outdoors tending to his garden and woodworking. He was very talented and could design and make anything he wished. He also will be remembered for his love for antique cars. Most of all, Limon loved his family and spent as much time with them as possible.
Limon was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will truly missed by all that knew him.

Edith passed away at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018 with her loving son, Larry, at her side, just twelve days short her 95th birthday.
Edith was born December 13, 1923 to Ivo and Ruth Shipman Jones. She was the oldest of five children.
Edith A. Jones and Raymond “Pat” Green were married on Edith’s birthday in 1941. Their youngest son, Charles, was born on December 13, making December 13 a special day to celebrate.
Edith has always been an inspiration and role model to everyone that had the privilege to meet her. She always put other people’s thoughts, feelings, and needs before her own.
She is survived by her children, Larry, Jerry (Virginia), Bob (Judy), Charles (Becky), Ramona Coldliron (Jim), and Patsy Briggs-Stubbs (Henry); her sister, Jane Willis (Marvin); her brother, Jim Jones (Shirley); thirteen grandchildren, Randy Green, Theresa Laffery, Jesse Green, Jeffery Green, Corky Briggs, Kelly Briggs, Jacky Coldiron, Jimmy Coldiron, Pam Elliot, Aleeza Maciariello, Adam Green, Robert Green, and Michael Green; twenty-nine great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond (Pat); her son, Jacky Ray; her parents, Ivo and Ruth Jones; two grandchildren, Allen Green and Bradley Green; two sisters, Dolors Jones and Audra Thomas (Albert “Tommy”).
Edith will be laid to rest beside her husband of forty-seven years Raymond “Pat” and their son, Jacky Ray at New Hope Cemetery, Peace Valley, Missouri.

Harry Dewayne Young was born in Thayer, Missouri, the son of Louis J. Young and Larein England Young on June 8, 1961, and departed this life on December 2, 2018 in Fulton County, Arkansas, at the age of 57 years.
He was united in marriage to Shelia Mills on August 3, 1979 in Heart, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife, Shelia Young of the home, in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; two sons, Clint and Luke Young of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; one daughter, Amy Turnbough and husband, Nick, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Callie and Cody Young and Ella Faye Turnbough, all of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; his mother, Larein Young of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; one brother, Marty Young and wife, Janet, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; one sister, Lanae Gaines and husband, Paul, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Noel and Willa Faye Mills of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and countless friends.

Harry loved his family and cherished each moment spent with them. In his spare time you could find him watching old time television programs or deer hunting in season. He was known for being funny, making people smile and laugh as often as he could. He was also very mischievous and sometimes even a little ornery.
Harry was a loving and devoted husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will truly be missed by his family and all that knew him.
