Minerva Gertrude Miller McKenzie was born on March 15, 1929, the daughter of Hobert Miller and Gertrude Bell Judd Miller and died October 26, 2021 in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 92 years.
She was united in marriage in 1947 to Cyrus Thompson who preceded her in death February 26, 1988. She was united in marriage in 1995 to James McKenzie who preceded her in death June 7, 2008.
She is survived by 7 Children, Connie Jones, husband Fred, of West Plains, Donnie Thompson of Slater, Missouri, James Thompson, wife Ella May of West Plains, Joyce Lynn, husband Jim of Salem, Missouri, Bobby Thompson, wife Neta of Brandsville, Rhonda Mowery, husband Benny of West Plains, Tony Thompson of West Plains; 4 sisters, Fern Harris, West Plains, Peggy Huddleston, West Plains, Faye Johnston, West Plains, Cora Winfrey, Marshall, Missouri; 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Minerva was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; two sisters; Emma Roark, Margaret Carter; two brothers, Joe Miller, Cecil Miller; 3 infant brothers, Carl Hugh, Ray Dean, Harold James and one great great grandchild.
She was of the Baptist Faith. Minerva will truly be missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday October 30th, 2021 from 7pm to 8pm at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Services will be held Sunday October 31st, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Carter funeral Home Chapel, West Plains with burial in Redburn Cemetery, Rover, Missouri.
