Graveside services for Kathryn Dianne Walters, 52, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 5, 2013, at Bailey Cemetery, Oregon County, Missouri, with Chaplain Pat Keefe officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
She was born the daughter of the late Everett Walters and Ella Bella Stevens Walters, on July 16, 1960 in Pocahontas, Arkansas and died July 2, 2013 in West Plains, Missouri.
She was married to Mark Halacy.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Halacy, West Plains, Missouri; one son, Chris Wright, West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Anna Jean Thomas, Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; one aunt, Norma Showalter, Pittsburg, Kansas; one nephew, James Jones of Kansas City, Missouri; one niece, Cristal Greenawalt, husband, Kendall L. Greenawalt, Jr., West Plains, Missouri; four grandchildren, Kyle Wayne Wright, Brandon Allen Wright, Emily Joyce Wright, and Ellie Anne Wright.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Brian Wright; three sisters, Sue Madden, Mary Tucker, and Wilma Walters, and one brother, William Everett Walters.
She was a Certified Nurses Assistant for a few years. She also had been employed with Swiss Colony Candy Company as a candy maker, and also worked for Wildlife, Inc., which she really enjoyed. Family members remember the stories she would tell them about her work there. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
There will be a veiwing one hour before the service starts at Bailey Cemetery, Oregon County, Missouri.

Dianne was a great woman and will be missed by all that knew her especially her family and friends. She was the next best thing I had to my mother (Wilma Walters). We love you and will miss you greatly Dianne! Love Mark and Kathy
