Patricia Jane Bivins was born the daughter of Roy Case and Amy Elizabeth (Lee) Case on April 21, 1928, in Long Beach, California, and departed this life October 17, 2015, at Shady Oaks Healthcare in Thayer, Missouri, at the age of 87 years.
She was united in marriage in Nevada to William Henry Bivins who preceded her in death on February 22, 1983.
She is survived two children, Sheila Harrison and husband, Dale of Koshkonong, Missouri and Henry Bivins and wife, Janet of Oregon; eleven grandchildren, Frances, Randy, Elaine, Tina, Lee, Belinda, Shon, Shan, Bendy, Cherie and Ronnie; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Amy Elizabeth Case; two children, Edward Forbis and Barbara Forbis; and four brothers, Eddie Case, Wilbur Case, Ray Case and Opal Case.
Patricia was a telephone and switchboard operator. After graduating from high school, she attended Bible college. She also ran a board and care home in Pomona, California.
She was a Christian and was a member of the Assembly of God in Pomona, California. She was a praying woman who knew the Lord, and was gifted in leading prayer and was asked to lead prayer for Bible services at Shady Oaks Healthcare.
Patricia loved to do needlepoint, read and watch television. She also loved cats, especially Toby.
She will be remembered as a beloved mother, grandmother and aunt and will truly be missed by her family and friends.
