Marjorie Lynn Brawley was born in Muskegon, Michigan, the daughter of Robert Thue and Mary Kesteloot Thue on December 23, 1960 and departed this life on August 21, 2019 at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri, at the age of 58 years.
She was united in marriage to Hubert Brawley in Liberty, Missouri on September 3, 1983. They spent almost thirty-six wonderful years together.
She is survived by her husband, Hubert Brawley of the home, in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; two children, Justin Brawley and wife, Kara, of Lathrop, Missouri and Melissa Toomey and husband, Matthew, of Kearney, Missouri; one sister, Suzanne Hosler and husband, Ron, of Muskegon, Michigan; five grandchildren, Hayden, Isaiah, Isabella, Hadley and Tiana; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Thue.
Marjorie was a Christian and of the Catholic faith. She spent many dedicated years as a Loan Office Manager at City Financial Bank in Kansas City, Missouri. After moving to this area, she was employed by the Beverage Shoppe in Thayer, Missouri.
She enjoyed spending time in the sunshine, tending to her garden and making beautiful flower arrangements. She also enjoyed time spent on the beach. Marjorie was an excellent cook and loved spending her Sundays cooking big meals for her family and friends.
Marjorie will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to all. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.
An Educational Fund has been opened at Simmons Bank in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas for her grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri with Bernard Toomey officiating.
