Linda Noland Freeman was born in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Buford Noland and Muriel Standley Elser on July 16, 1959 and departed this life on June 26, 2019 at her home in Cherokee Village, Arkansas at the age of 59 years.
She was united in marriage to Dale Freeman. He preceded her in death in 2014.
She is survived by her mother, Muriel Standley Elser of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; one brother, Buford Noland, Jr. and wife, Debra, of Newburg, Missouri; three sisters, Vicki Arnold and husband, Dennis, of Peoria, Illinois, Brenda Janes of Peoria, Illinois and Trella Opp and husband, Ron, of International Falls, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Steven James, Evangline and Zachary McMahill, all of Peoria, Illinois; the mother of her grandchildren, Tina Alverson of Peoria, Illinois; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Freeman; her father, Buford Noland; one son, Steve McMahill; and one sister, Sarah Standley.
Linda was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. She spent many years assisting her husband in running his brick laying business. She also was a homemaker, dedicated to caring for her home and family.
She loved swimming in her free time. She also enjoyed time with her horses. She loved to go horseback riding and often worked on training them.
Linda will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister and a friend to all. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri with brother Larry White officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday June 30, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the service with arrangements under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.
