Mary Louise Taylor Weaver was born the daughter of Charlie O. Taylor and Mildred L. Edwards Taylor on February 19, 1936 in Alton, Missouri and departed this life March 16, 2011 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 75 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Fortner and husband, David of Springfield, Missouri; one grandson, Jason Fortner of Springfield, Missouri; one sister, June Williams of Doniphan, Missouri; one uncle, J.G. Edwards; two aunts, Irene Hollis and Imogene Strain; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mildred Taylor; one son, Lyle Alan Howell and two brothers, Charles Junior Taylor and John Taylor.
Louise retired in December 1998 after being employed for thirty six-years with St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, working in the central supply department.
She was a member of the Baptist Temple Church in Springfield, Missouri.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to all. She will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Many Springs Baptist Church near Alton, Missouri. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until service time at the church. Burial will be in the Many Springs Cemetery.
