Funeral services for Howard Warren Keeler, 86, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2019, at the Dry Creek Baptist Church with Randy Green officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.

He was born the son of the late W. Arvel Keeler and Lily Goss Keeler, on February 11, 1933 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma and died April 28, 2019 in West Plains, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Phyllis Gardner, who preceded him in death October 7, 2011. He later married Glessner Hodges.

He is survived by his wife, Glessner Hodges, West Plains, Missouri; three children, Carolyn Brady, Clinton, Missouri; Roger Keeler and wife Sheryl, Warrensburg, Missouri, and Lori Green and husband Randy, Elkhart, Indiana; one sister, Nellie Burk, Marion, North Carolina; eleven grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Phyllis; one son, Warren Keeler; three brothers; three sisters, and two great grandchildren.

Howard attended the Dry Creek Baptist Church in Howell County, Missouri. He served his country with the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1957. In his working world he was a mechanic until he retired.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 at Dry Creek Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dry Creek Cemetery Fund, and can be left at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Dry Creek Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains. Military rites will be performed by our West Plains Honor Guard and the Missouri Funeral Honors program.
