Jackie Earl Tharp,son of the late Ross Tharp at Mary Hollis Tharp, was born April 28, 1951 in West Plains, Missouri and died Monday, April 1, 2019 at 8:05 AM at Brooke Haven Healthcare in West Plains, Missouri.
He was united in marriage August 30, 1982 in West Plains, Missouri to Judy Marie Welch, who preceded him in death December 13, 2012.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Tharp, West Plains, Missouri; one brother-in-law, Donald Powell, West Plains, Missouri; one nephew, Aaron Powell, West Plains, Missouri, and one uncle Glen Hollis and wife, Wanda, Blue Springs, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his father; his wife, and one sister, Connie Powell.
He was employed at Amyx Industries for approximately thirty years. In his early years, Jackie loved to ride motorcycles and do lots of sightseeing. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation time will be held Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains, Missouri.
