Elsie Jane Vandiver

Elsie Jane Vandiver daughter of the late Charles Andrew Vandiver and Edith Marion Shank was born April 25, 1951 in West Plains, Missouri and entered eternal rest on May 14, 2018 in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 67 years.

She is survived by three children Kim Combs and husband Bill from Millington Maryland, Denny Romans and Kristi Stirewalt and husband JR from Brandsville, Missouri.

Her siblings Dennis Vandiver and wife Mari of East Peoria, llinois, Velma McDaniels and husband Dave of Norcross, Georgia and Karl Vandiver.

She was known as Memaw to her eight grandchildren, Tyler and wife Megan, Ryan and wife Jess, Austin and wife Allie, Trevor and wife Malaya, and Aryaunah Combs, Elijah Romans, Jordyn and Skyler Stirewalt; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephew.

She is also proceeded in death by one infant brother and her companion of fifteen years, Bobby Fitzgerald.

She loved her family and loved to cook and did so for many years at different locations in and around West Plains.

Memorial services will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Midway Pentecostal Church in Thayer, Missouri.

Private burial will be at a later date.
