Wanda Lee Hill, daughter of the late Burley and Lela Gladys Collins, was born February 21, 1940 in Siloam Springs, Missouri and died October 21, 2017 peacefully at her home.
She was married in Kansas City to Robert Lee Hill, who preceded her in death on July 14, 2000.
In 1975, Wanda and family moved back to her hometown to finish raising the family. Before her retirement, she worked as an LPN at Beverly Health Care. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, sister-in-law and friend. She loved reading books, playing cards in the company of her family and tending to the needs of her loved ones.
She is survived by four children, Robin Collins, Donna Collins, Gary Hill and Bobby Hill and wife Heather; eleven grandchildren, Anna Michel and husband Mark, Tommy Gene Collins II and wife Amanda, Justin Collins, Melissa Collins and fiance Matt Arnett, Carie Collins, Gary Hill II, Stephanie Maggard and husband Tony, Joey Barbrow and partner Kendra Thompson, Kirsten Butts and husband Cory, Jacob Kalina-Hill and wife Amanda, Kaitlyn Hill and fiance Justin Casillas, Kylee Hill; eighteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents; her husband; one son, Charles (Chuck) Hill, daughter-in-law Vicki Brown, son-in-law Tommy Collins; five sisters, Reola Keene, Loise Collins, Lois Collins, Lois White, Edith Britt, and Mable Collins; four brothers, Roy Wheat, Leslie Collins, Basil Collins, and Charles Collins, and one great great granddaughter, Phoenix Michel preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pumpkin Center Fire Department.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
