Bruce Allen Turnbull, 62, Vanzant, Missouri passed away at his home.
He was born August 8, 1962 in Houston, Missouri to the late John Elvin and Ruby “Collins” Turnbull.
Amanda Guy, his significant other shared twenty two years together. He was the father of four daughters, Sarah Causey, Sheri Thompson, Mckayla Kendrick, and Nicole Turnbull.
He is survived by his significant other, Amanda Guy, daughters, Sarah Causey (Robbie), Sheri Thompson (Edward), Mckayla Kendrick (Canyon), Nicole Turnbull (Jayce); grandchildren, Ryan (Emily), Shelby, Jalee, Brice, Ruby, Teri, Edward, Mazlee; brothers, Dennis Turnbull and Jimmy Turnbull (Sarah); nephews, Brandon Turnbull (Samantha), Jacob Turnbull, Alex Davault (Kim), John Turnbull (Ramon), Sam Turnbull (Taylor), Clayton Turnbull (Courtney), Ronnie Turnbull; one niece, Julie Olsen (Joe); great nieces and nephews, Aurora, Naomi,Evelyn, Lyla, Brantley, Emory; uncles, Ralph Turnbull and Wayne Turnbull; one sister-in-law, Sheri Turnbull, and a host of cousins

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John Eslie and Burniece Turnbull; maternal grandparents, Bert and Dovie Collins; his parents, John Elvin (Bud) and Ruby (Collins) Turnbull; his infant older brother, Ronnie Turnbull, and youngest brother, Melvin (Toby) Turnbull.
He attended Richville Church as a young man and was baptized. He was a logger until his health forced him to retire. He also knew and loved the Lord dearly.
He enjoyed gardening. A big garden was something he enjoyed. He also enjoyed telling stories of things he did as a younger man. As he had gotten older he liked to talk about God and the bible.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He loved camping and driving his boat with his grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Mound Cemtery, Douglas County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains. The body will lie in state on Monday. June 30, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
