Jewell Lee Rogers, son of the late John Hershel Rogers and Maggie Sarah Taylor Rogers, was born October 14, 1926 in Saddle, Arkansas and died June 12, 2015 in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 88 years.
He was united in marriage July 23, 1948 in Thayer, Missouri to Mary Allice Morris, who preceded him in death March 10, 2013.
He is survived by two children, Jerry Lee Rogers and wife Beverly, Salem, Arkansas and Debra Alice Brown and husband Patrick, West Plains, Missouri; two brothers, Borden Rogers, Shreveport, Louisiana and Noel Rogers, Kansas City, Missouri area; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one sister, Vana Mae McCravey and one brother, Earl Lamar Rogers.
He served his country in the United States Army from January 1945 until July 1946. They moved to Camp, Arkansas in 1950, where they lived for fifty-five years. He was a devoted mechanic all is life while living in Camp, Arkansas. In 2005, they retired and moved to West Plains, Missouri.
