Larry Ross Marler, 75, son of the late Winfred Leroy Marler and Irene (Auffert) Marler, was born December 7, 1948 in West Plains, Missouri and passed away January 16, 2024 in Springfield, Missouri.
Larry was married October 31, 1986 in West Plains, Missouri to Rita Kenslow.
He is survived by his wife Rita Marler, West Plains, Missouri; children, Angela Weis, Shelley Rhoades, and Joey Patricelli; three siblings, Patricia Riley, Viola, Arkansas, Francis Marler and wife Janet, Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Linda Vogel and husband, Phil, Jefferson City, Missouri; six grandchildren, Bobby Dale Reid, Wyatt Reid, Colter Reid, Payton Weis, Dunde Harris, and Kindra Gentges and nine great grandchildren.
Larry worked for the West Plains Daily Quill Newspaper for over twenty years as a printer. He was also a Vietnam War veteran. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Homeland Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains, Missouri.
Public is welcome to come in on Friday, January 19, 2024 between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel to view and sign the register book. Also Saturday, January 20th, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

We have never forgot our tube float trip from Hammonds Mill to Blair Bridge. It start out fun pnd wound up with a big sunbunrn and swearing we would never do it again.
It was fun but a miserable day.
You were a good friend.
