Monday, September 19, 2022, Brian Wells McDonald, 51 passed away peacefully at home, with his wife & father at his side. He battled many different illnesses, but the one that ultimately took him was Lewy Body Dementia. Lewy is an extremely aggressive form of dementia that shut down his body very quickly.
Brian was born to Charles and Frances McDonald in Colorado Springs, Colorado on April 3, 1971. He was raised in a military family and once old enough, Brian joined the U.S. ARMY himself. Brian proudly served 16.5 years before being honorably discharged.
In 2006, Brian married the love of his life, Allison. Only 16 years of marriage was not the forever they had imagined, but the good news is that when Jesus comes back again, they can be together forever and ever. What a beautiful day that will be!
Brian is survived by his loving wife, Allison; his father, Charles; two sisters, Beverly and Martha; one brother David.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances; one sister, Barbara; and one brother, Albert.
Family & friends will truly miss Brian. Rest well in the Lord Brian and we will see you again very soon. Forever in our hearts & minds, to forever with the Lord.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 25, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Next Step Seventh Day Adventist Church in West Plains
