Sherry Ann Fleming was born the daughter of Wayne and Barbara Fleming on October 5th 1961 in Purcell, Oklahoma. Sherry departed this life September 10th 2017 in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 55 years.
She graduated from a Noble High School in 1979. She went on to work for the United States Postal Service for more than 20 years before retiring to Missouri. In Missouri she lived her dream, riding horses, crafting, quilting, dancing, fishing and having quality time with those she loved.
If you knew Sherry, you would know she loved life. She was all heart and no nonsense. In life you sometimes are blessed to come across a person like her. She’d tell you how it is, how it was and will then hug you with the warmest embrace to say I love you. Her love for her family and animals was more than special. She lived on her own terms and dared you to try and stop her or get in her way.
Her infectious smile and hearty laugh will be missed as the night sky would miss the stars if they were taken away. There will be a void without her, but we have our memories. We love you more than you know and will forever miss you!
Sherry is survived by her Mother, Barbara Fleming of Thayer; Sister Terri Kehne of Oregon; Daughter Jessica Bryant and husband ShiMeen King of Oklahoma; Daughter Morgan Cox husband Travis Cox of Oklahoma; Granddaughters Tatiana Bryant and Chutai King and Grandson Hoyt Cox; Boyfriend Walter Mattes; Her other kids Willy Boy, Jackson, Ivy, Maddie, Thor, Niki and Tory.
Memorial services for Sherry, will be held Thursday, September 14th, 2017, at 5:00 PM at the First Church of God in Thayer, followed by a Sunset Graveside Service at 7:15 PM at the Shiloh Grand Gulf Cemetery in Thayer.
