Norma Crotts, daughter of the late Cicero Morris and Ann “Gibbs” Morris, was born September 3, 1940 in Thayer, Missouri and died July 2, 2024 in West Plains, Missouri, at the age of 83 years.

She was married June 11, 1955 in Salem, Arkansas to Harvey Crotts, who preceded her in death November 8, 2017.

She is survived by two children, Kathy Hobbs and husband Gary, West Plains, Missouri and Lisa Newcomb and husband, Darryl, West Plains, Missouri; one brother, Charles Morris and wife Irma, West Plains, Missouri; three grandchildren, Nichole Hobbs, West Plains, Missouri, Jamie Hobbs and wife, Kayla, West Plains, Missouri, and Jonathan Martin, Springfield, Missouri; two great grandchildren, Kira Hobbs and Arianne Hobbs, both of West Plains, Missouri.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Thomas Morris; four sisters, Nellie Morris, Marie Blazer, Della Cockrum, and Rose Lee Lair.

She attended the Assembly of God Church in West Plains, Missouri for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation services will be held Monday, July 8, 2024 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Private burial will be held under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains, Missouri.

    Kathy, Lisa, and families –

    So sorry to hear about your Mom’s passing. I have many fond memories of your parents while all of us kids played together at your house. I can only imagine how much you’ll miss her. I’ll be thinking of you and praying for you all.
