  Margie Faye Collins, 88, of Mammoth Spring, passed away on February 3, 2025, in Thayer, Missouri. She was born on September 6, 1936, in Many Islands, Arkansas, to William Davis and Mabel (Hurtt) Davis.

    Margie married Clearence Collins on April 25, 1953, in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. She was a devoted member of the Mammoth Spring Church of Christ. Margie was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

    She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Burke (David); son, Brad Collins (Kuganes); four grandchildren, Amanda Owens (Carroll), Andrew Burke (Lauren), Aaron Burke (Leslie), Krishnan Collins; six great-grandchildren, Kaden and Kyler Owens, Jack and Beckett Burke, Emmet and Elce Burke; and sister, Willia Mae White (Jim).

    She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mabel Davis; husband, Clearence Collins; three brothers, Howard Davis (Genevive), Fred Davis (Wanda), TR Davis (Frances); and son, Jack Collins.

Pallbearers will be: Brian Davis, Andrew Burke, Aaron Burke, Krishnan Collins, Carroll Owens, and Kaden Owens

Memorials may be made to the Flint Cemetery of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. These may be left with the funeral home. 

Services will be private. 

Burial will be at the Flint Cemetery of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.

    Another dear cousin has left us. Cousin Margie & Clearance raised a good family and we will always remember Margie & how she loved to play Pitch at our Hurtt Reunions when she was able to join us. Our sympathy to all the family and friends.

    I’m sorry to see her go, it’s like another piece of Mom is gone. She was such a comfort knowing she was close by to watch after daddy when we weren’t there. I love having lunch and visiting with her.
