Funeral services for Leslie Fred Brashear, 83, Koshkonong, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 16, 2017, at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
He was born the son of the late Cecil Brashear and Lela Day Brashear, on April 25, 1934 in Adren, Oregon and died June 13, 2017 in Thayer, Missouri.
He is survived by five children, Jerry Brashear and wife Dolly, Koshkonong, Missouri, Jeannie Morris and husband Mike, Thayer, Missouri, Patty Johnson and husband Michael, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Debbie Roberts and husband Dean, Myrtle, Missouri, and Kevin Brashear, Koshkonong, Missouri; three siblings, Opal Brasher, Koshkonong, Missouri, Ruth Thompson and husband Boyd, West Plains, Missouri, and Jack Brashear, Koshkonong, Missouri; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ben Brashear, Dale Brashear, and Clyde Brashear; two sisters, Lois Butts and Lucille Jones.
He attended the Midway Pentecostal Church of Thayer, Missouri.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel in West Plains, Missouri from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
