LaTeresa Marie Cooper was born the daughter of Loyd Phenix and Wanda Honnell Phenix on October 22, 1954, in Lake City, Arkansas, and died April 9, 2017, at her home in Thayer, Missouri at the age of 62 years.
She was united in marriage on August 28, 1981, at Hardy, Arkansas, to Eddie Cooper.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie Cooper of the home in Thayer, Missouri; her mother, Wanda Phenix of Thayer, Missouri; three children, Heidi Eckman-Qualls and husband, Stan of Thayer, Missouri, Lynsey Miller and husband, Jeremy of Thayer, Missouri and Justin Cooper of Thayer, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Zackary, Mason, Jaxon, Stetson, Ransom and Emmett; one sister, Freddie Bruce of Myrtle, Missouri; three brothers, Michael Phenix of West Plains, Missouri, Jack Phenix of Springfield, Missouri and Rob Phenix of West Plains, Misssouri; several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Loyd Phenix.
LaTeresa enjoyed being outdoors and watching her grandchildren. She was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.
She will be remembered as a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and caregiver. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
Graveside services for LaTeresa Cooper will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Thayer Cemetery with Brother Richard Robinson officiating.
Burial will be in Thayer Cemetery with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc in Thayer.
