Judith Ann Irby, 83, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, passed away at her home on April 10, 2025. Judith was born on November 15, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, to her parents, Buck and Ruth Reimers. Judith married the love of her life, Doyle Irby on August 26, 1962. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. Judith and Doyle were both baptized on September 1, 2021, by Pastor Charles Morgan in the Spring River. Judith’s family moved back to Mammoth Spring, Arkansas when she was three years old, and since then she has never left her family farm.
Judith started work at Covers Lumber Company in 1966 as the bookkeeper, helping many of her coworkers set up a retirement plan. Judith loved her job at Covers. Judith also loved her Appaloosa horses; she won numerous ribbons showing her horses. Judith adored all animals, especially her beloved cats and dogs.
Judith is proceeded in death by her husband, Doyle Irby and her parents, Buck and Ruth Reimers.
Judith is survived by her nieces, nephews, and special friends that became her family.
Services with be officiated by Brother Charles Morgan and Brother Chris Powell. Pallbearers will be Glinn Case, Curtis Poulette, Chuck Callahan, Donnie Callahan, Don Johnson, and Eric Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Andrews, Lester Riley, Mark Underwood, George Cover, Bob Grimes, Jerry Rucker, Bobby Ward, Danny Johnson, Doug Johnson, Herb Poulette and Bobby Humphrey.
A Graveside Service will be on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Fryatt Cemetery of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.
