Jimmie Allen Myers was born the son of Fred Allen Myers and Velma (Smith) Myers on June 13, 1947, in Thayer, Missouri and departed this life January 12, 2015, at his home in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas at the age of 67 years.
He was united in marriage on May 1, 1970, at Myrtle, Missouri to Sharon Ramsey.
He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Sharon Myers of the home in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; one daughter, Cindi Wiggins and husband, Dr. Michael Wiggins of Gainesville, Florida; two grandsons, Sam Wiggins and Jack Wiggins, both of Gainesville, Florida; two brothers, Larry Myers and wife, Millie of Mammoth Spring, Ron Myers and wife, Vicki of Olden, Missouri; one sister, Barbara Tyson and husband, Mike of Mammoth Spring; several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Velma Myers; one brother, Leonard Myers; and one sister, Kathy Myers.
Jimmie was a Veteran, proudly serving his country in the United States Army.
He was employed at Tindle Feed in Thayer, Missouri, retiring as assistant manager after thirty years of service.
Jimmie enjoyed the outdoors, often working on the farm or an occasional hunting or fishing trip.
He enjoyed visiting with family and friends and will truly be missed by all.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 15, 2015, at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in his memory, to the charity of your choice.
Burial will be in the Thayer Cemetery with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.

A friend for many years, a fellow employee at Tindles for over 20 years, Jim was truly one of a kind. Our sympathy to Sharon and all the family.
