Irmgard B. Nicks, 82, daughter of the late Max Strehle and Irma Strehle passed away December 15, 2025 at Willow Springs Health Care, Willow Springs, Missouri.
She was born March 1, 1943 in Jettingen, Germany.
She married Thurman Patrick Nicks February 8, 1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She is survived by her husband, Thurman Patrick Nicks; two adopted boys, Lloyd L. Nicks, Burbank, California and Patrick D. J. Nicks, state of Michigan, and one daughter, Rebecca Nicks and husband John, Fayetteville, Arkansas, and two grandchildren, Ethan Nicks and Shawn Nicks, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Irmgard was a nurse for several years. She loved to cook for everyone. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri.
Burial will be at Free Union Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains, Missouri.

Pat I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m sending my prayers to you & your family. Irma was a beautiful lady inside & out. I still remember the day she brought me the clown doll from Germany. Sending love.
