Erma Sue Johnson, daughter of the late Russell Calvin & Mary Catharen Tyhurst was born May 17, 1945 in Martinsville, Illinois and died March 17, 2019 in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 73. She was united in marriage September 3, 1967 at the Restitution Church of God in Casey, Illinois to Robert Lloyd Johnson.
She is survived by her spouse, Robert Johnson, West Plains, Missouri; two daughters, Sheila Stoops and spouse Rick, West Plains, Missouri and Bobbie Clark and spouse David, Camp, Arkansas; three granddaughters, Amanda (Clark) Schroeder and spouse Craig, Mountain Home, Arkansas, Rebecca Clark, Salem, Arkansas and Lyndsi Stoops, West Plains, Missouri; one very special great grandson, Raemond Alan Jo Clark, one son-in law, Alan Wardenburg, Wentzville, Missouri, three brothers, Leon Tyhurst, Raymond Tyhurst and spouse Cora, Ronald Tyhurst and spouse Patty; four sisters, Cathy Roach, Teresa Connelly and spouse Dennis, Lori Blankenbaker, Camilla Williams and spouse Stacey, all from the state of Illinois and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and brother-in-law Garnet and Robert Johnson, her sister-in-law, Karon Tyhurst and one daughter, Patricia Sue Wardenburg.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
