David was a classmate at Couch. He had a kind and gentle heart with understanding beyond his years. He consoled me when we were in the fifth grade after my sister died. He explained that death was sort of like life because it would not last forever unless we let it. He said that our life in Heaven simply can’t begin until we give up our worldly body in order to go home to be with God. David went home to be with God but his spirit will live forever in the hearts of all whose lives he touched. I pray that his family can find comfort in knowing that he’s with God.

David was such a true gentleman during the 12 years I knew him at Couch School.
I have not forgotten David and you; such a lovely couple.
It is hard to find the words to express comfort to you and your family, but my heart goes out to you.
God has taken one of the good guys home.
May God Bless & keep you and your family safe.

Dear Linda Kay and all of David’s family,
It saddens me to hear of the loss of your brother David. It is so hard to lose our family members, no matter how we age, we always seem like kids when we get together. I remember all of your family with love. It seems like such a short time ago we were all in school at Couch.
You have my deepest sympathy, prayers for comfort, peace and love at this time.
David was a good man.
Best regards to all of you
