Charleen was one of my favorite elementary school teachers when I was a student at Many Springs. Her Christian attitude impressed me as a student and later as a minister.
    Our sympathy to the family.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Charlene and she will be missed. We stop in on her everytime we visit the Thayer area. May God Bless Charlene and her entire family and
if we can help in any way please let me know. Sorry we could not be there in person during the visitation or funeral service. I have recently returned home from the hospital and not up to the 6 hour drive. I notified Dad ( Finice Crase) of Charlene’s passing. You are all in our prayers, and it’s comforting to know that she is with the Lord and at peace and free from the ill’s of life. May God Bless you all and comfort you. Love Larry Crase

Miss Charlene was one of the nicest ladies that I have had the privilege of knowing, even if it was for a short time at Shepherd’s View. I enjoyed listening to her talk about the early days of school teaching. She was a compassionate lady in every sense of the word.
