Funeral Services for Mary Catherine Sorrell,  58, Thayer, Missouri, will be 2:00pm Friday, November 1, 2019, at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, Thayer with the Bro Charles Morgan officiating under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Thayer.

She was born the daughter of Robert Sorrell and Mary Lou Boyd Sorrell, on July 21, 1961 in West Plains, Missouri and died October 27, 2019 in Thayer, Mo.

She is survived by her parents, Robert and Mary Lou Sorrell of Myrtle, Missouri; three children, Aaron Judd of Thayer, Missouri, Dessa Carter and husband Joshua of Thayer, Missouri and Elijah Judd and wife Charity of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; two brothers, Bobby Sorrell and wife Tammy of Gatewood, Missouri and Boyd “Bub” Sorrell of Myrtle, Missouri; one sister, Stacee Peters and husband Dave of West Plains, Missouri; six grandchildren, Korra Judd, Bradley Carter, Brooklyn Carter, Kinsley Carter, Olivia Judd and Josiah Judd; Rex, her beloved dog.

She was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Addison Carter and Raelyn Eloise Judd; her grandparents, Truman and Ora Boyd and Finis and Lillie Sorrell.

She loved to sing, write songs and play the piano. She cherished her grandchildren immensely. She never met a stranger and loved the Lord. She was a member of the Mammoth Spring First Baptist Church. Her only wish is for everyone to know the Lord and Savior for the Reunion in Heaven someday.

Family visitation will be 5-7pm Thursday

Burial will be in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., Thayer, Missouri.

Alpha Joy Melott, age 82, of Thayer, Missouri, died on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 6:42 PM in Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.  No services are planned at this time.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc in Thayer.

George Keith Teichmer was born in Pawnee Oklahoma, the son of Bill Teichmer and Kathryn Posten Teichmer on May 10, 1964 and departed this life on October 15, 2019 at South Bend Nursing Home in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, at the age of 55 years.

He was united in marriage to Suzanna Terrabone.

He is survived by one sister, Kathryn Bowers of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; three brothers, Terry Brown of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Robert Brown of Thayer, Missouri and Ed Brown of Thayer, Missouri; two Aunts, Nancy Wilson and Clara Kennedy; several nieces and nephews including special niece Autumn Orth and special nephew Alex Ulrich.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Teichmer and Kathryn Brown; step-father, Joe Brown; sister, Luanne Brown; maternal grandparents, George and Lottie Posten; and  his paternal grandparents.

Keith was a graduate of Mammoth Spring High School. He liked going to tractor shows with his step-dad, Joe and enjoyed watching and collecting all kinds of movies. He will be missed by his family and many friends.

Memorial graveside services will be held, Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery, near Thayer, with Pastor Aaron Holman officiating under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc in Thayer.

Jerry Lynn Harper was born the son of Posey Harper and Ora (Ary) Harper on December 11, 1953, in Thayer, Missouri, and departed this life on October 9, 2019, at his home in Thayer, Missouri, at the age of 65 years.

He was united in marriage on May 24, 1975 to Anita Mainprize.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Harper of the home in Thayer, Missouri; two sons, Jeremy Harper and wife, Terrah of Republic, Missouri; Bradley Harper and wife, Jessica of Thayer, Missouri; four grandchildren, Landon, Payton, Canyon, and Mesa; one brother, James Harper and wife, Sharon of Thayer, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Posey and Ora Harper; two brothers, Joe Harper and Larry Harper; and sister, Janice Houts, along with two infant brothers.

Jerry was a graduate of Thayer High School with the class of 1972. He retired from Wallace & Owens after 39 years of service. He enjoyed spending time at family gatherings, hunting & riding ATVs at Cloud 9 Ranch. He was an avid Cardinals Baseball & Bobcat Sports Fan, watching or listening to every game he could. He loved watching his sons & then his grandkids play ball. He attended Welcome Hill Church of Christ & enjoyed spending time in fellowship with the other members. He will be missed helping solve the world’s problems at the round table and being seen driving old blue around town.

Funeral services for Jerry Lynn Harper, age 65, of Thayer, Missouri will be held Monday, October 14, 2019 at 2:oo PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Erman Croney officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 14th from 1:00 PM until time of service.

Interment will be in Thayer Cemetery with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc in Thayer.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the Welcome Hill Church of Christ Building Fund and left at the funeral home.

Romona Wooldridge was born in Saddle, Arkansas, the daughter of Obie Grissom and Goldie Robinson Grissom on July 6, 1931 and departed this life on October 9, 2019 at her home in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 88 years.

She was united in marriage to Robert Wooldridge on October 14, 1950 in Pontiac, Michigan. He preceded her in death on August 17, 2018.

She is survived by her daughter, Roberta Hull of Springfield, Missouri; her son Robert Lee Wooldridge and wife Georgie, of Nixa, Missouri; two sisters, Roberta Bishop of Conway, Arkansas and Lovena Gilbreath of Pontiac, Michigan; one brother, Travis Grissom of Saddle, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Matthew Hull of Springfield, Missouri and Chelsea Keller and husband Tim of Nixa, Missouri; three great grandchildren, Kameron, Finley and Wilder, many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and countless friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wooldridge; her parents, Obie and Goldie Grissom.

Mrs. Wooldridge was a dedicated homemaker. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing delicious meals for her family. She liked painting ceramics, shopping and in her younger years she enjoyed playing basketball and roller skating.

She will be remembered as deeply devoted to her family and will truly be missed by her family and all that knew her.

Funeral services for Romona Wooldridge will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas with Brother Charles Morgan officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, October 15th from 1:00 PM until service time.

Interment will be in Saddle Cemetery near Mammoth Spring, Arkansas with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc in Thayer.

Pauline Redburn was born in Crider, Missouri, the daughter of Luther Long and Ada Merritt Long on March 16, 1930 and departed this life on October 8, 2019 in Thayer, Missouri, at the age of 89 years.

She was united in marriage to Eblin Redburn in 1950. He preceded her in death on June 7, 2011.

She is survived by her son, Jackie Redburn of Thayer, Missouri; three grandchildren, Micke, Erica and Jason; two great grandchildren, Wyatt and Henry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbin Redburn; her parents, Luther and Ada Long; her daughter Janice Anderson; three brothers, Adam Long, Harold Long and Lawrence Long; two sisters, Earnistine Endicott and Lorene Burkhart; one half-brother and one half-sister.

Mrs. Redburn was an excellent cook and was known for her beautiful and delicious peach cobblers. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and was an avid Cardinals fan.

She will be remembered as a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and a friend to all.  She was a member of the Thayer Church of Christ.

Funeral services for Pauline Redburn, age 89, of Thayer, Missouri, will be held Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri.

The body will lie in state at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer on Sunday, October 13th from 10:00 AM until service time.

Interment will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, in West Plains, Missouri with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc in Thayer.

Connie Jean Hackworth, age 80, of Moro, Illinois, formerly of West Plains, Missouri, died on October 2, 2019 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, Illinois.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Myrtle Cemetery in Myrtle, Missouri.
