Lonnie Lee Pyatt, son of the late Daniel Roe Pyatt and Rosetta Smith Pyatt, was born November 16, 1934 in Irondale, Missouri and went to be with his Lord and Savior, November 29, 2018 in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 84 years.
He was united in marriage June 20, 1953 in Arondall, Missouri to Leatha Stoke, who preceded him in death August 14, 2018.
He is survived by three children, Michael Pyatt and wife Bonnie, Pomona, Missouri; Rick Pyatt and wife Debbie, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Cathy Rulo and husband Robert, West Plains, Missouri; nine grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents, and ten siblings.
He was a member of the Pomona Assembly of God Church, Pomona, Missouri. Lonnie and his wife had been in the ministry for fifty years. He loved to preach God’s word.
Funeral services for Lonnie Pyatt will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Visitation will Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Carter Funeral home Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
Winfrey Thomas Morgan, Jr., M.D. (Tom) was born January 29, 1935, in Lebanon, Missouri to Winfrey Thomas Morgan, Sr. (W.T.) and Leroyna Wyatt Morgan. He died November 29, 2018, in Columbia, Missouri at the age of 83. His family moved to Thayer, Missouri when Tom was young, and he attended elementary and high school there, where he became a lifelong Bobcat.
He attended undergraduate at the University of Missouri where he was Phi Beta Kappa, graduating in 1957. He then attended medical school at the university, where he graduated in 1961. Tom decided early on that he wanted to be a “country doctor,” and since there were no family practice residencies at that time, he went to Kansas City General Hospital for a one- year internship. After internship, he entered the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood..
On July 6, 1957, Tom married Sondra Bryan in Thayer, and by the end of medical school and internship, they had three children. After his service, Tom moved his family to West Plains. In the twenty years he was there, he had a very busy general practice. He and Dr. Marvin Fowler started Burton Creek Medical Clinic.
In 1984, Tom followed Sondra to Columbia, where she was in school. Tom and Rollie and Nancy Lohmar started a convenience clinic called Mediquick. Tom retired from Mediquick in 2005 due to a bad back, which did not allow him to continue working.
Tom is survived by Sondra, his wife of 61 years; three children, Stephanie (Bob Boehm), Christopher (Dr. Anita Tesh) and Melanie (David Dennis). He has eight grandchildren: Rob Boehm (Natalie), Sarah Devero (Jeff), Anna Perdue (Warren), Emily Kinsman (Fox), Laura Morgan (Dylan McKnight), Claire Anich, Sam Anich and Mary Grace Anich; six great-grandchildren, Quinton and Banyan Perdue, Louise and Jack Boehm and Charlie and Josephine Devero; and one brother, Michael L. Morgan (Ann). His parents and beloved Grandmother “B” Wyatt predeceased him.
Tom will truly be missed by his family and friends.

Ruth Hildegard Hartel Pierlow passed away November 22, 2018 in Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born to Karl and Martha Drelich Hartel on August 15, 1924, in Breslau, Germany.
She was married to Victor Pierlow in 1955 in Germany while he was stationed there and came to the United States in 1956. They lived most of their married life in California and returned to Missouri in 1986 to care for Vic’s mother, Beulah Burgin Pierlow Hudson.
Ruth’s parents, husband and only daughter from a previous marriage, Rose Marie Irene Lupeats, preceded her in death. Ruth leaves behind several nieces and a host of friends and family who will miss her happy, positive personality.
Graveside services will be held in West Plains at Oaklawn Cemetery on November 28. 2018, at 1:00 p.m., under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

He was born the son of the late Elzie Willis Leveritt, Sr. and Helen Audrey Johnson Leveritt, on April 16, 1938 in Smackover, Arkansas and died November 17, 2018 in West Plains, Missouri.
He was united in marriage December 6, 1958 to Mary Irene Clevenger, who preceded him in death. To this union four children were born, Billy Ray Leveritt and Virginia “Ginny” Kelley Leveritt Yeager, who preceded him in death, and Edwin PauI Leveritt, Parkesburg, Pennsylvania and Robin Ann Leveritt of Springfield, Missouri.
He later was united in marriage July 16, 2005 in West Plains, Missouri to Ruby Irene Wheeler, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: siblings, Carl and (Betty) Leveritt, Hot Springs, Arkansas, Mike and (Gloria) Leveritt, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Randy and (Tammy) Leveritt and Ronny and (Judy) Leveritt, both of Smackover, Arkansas, ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends.
He was also preceded in death by siblings: Margaret, Mary, Gene, James, Nancy, Arthur, and Bonnie; and one grandchild, Joshua Willis Leveritt.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 24,2018 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
Dolores M. Lee , daughter of the late Sigmond Gordon and Lucy Matz Gordon, was born March 31, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois and died November 14, 2018 at Brooke Haven Health Care in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 78.
She is survived by three daughters, Wanda Petrucci, Vicki Zahn, and Diana Copanioni; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a Veteran having served in the United States Marine Corp. She had obtained a bachelors degree and was a P.E. Instructor for the City of Chicago Park System.
Dustin Dwight Bresee was born in West Plains, Missouri, the son of James B. Bresee and Gina Smith Bresee on March 28, 1991, and departed this life on November 16, 2018 in Caulfield, Missouri at the age of 27 years.
He is survived by his three children, Katelinn, Jaden and Noah Bresee, all of the home in Caulfield, Missouri; his parents, James and Gina Bresee of West Plains, Missouri; two brothers, Thomas Bresee and fiancée, Katelyn, and Andrew Bresee, all of West Plains, Missouri; two sisters, Heather Bryant and husband, Nathen, and Elizabeth Bresee and fiancée, Simeon, all of West Plains, Missouri; grandparents, Thomas and Linda Smith of Neodesha, Kansas; great grandmothers, Lorriane McRoberts of Neodesha, Kansas and Juanita Smith of Fort Scott, Kansas; many nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; cousins; other relatives and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene and Esther Bresee.
Dustin was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.
He was a carpenter. He enjoyed drawing and playing with his kids. Dustin was an avid outdoorsman and always looked forward to deer season and he also enjoyed fishing.
He loved and cherished time spent with his family and will be remembered as a devoted father, son and brother. Dustin will truly be missed by all that knew him.

Wanda Jean (Davis) McKinney was born on February 27, 1946 in Camp, Arkansas, the daughter of Elmo Lee Davis and Dorothy Jane Carolina (Hardin) Davis, and departed this life on November 14, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 72 years.
At the age of sixteen, she met the love of her life, Iva Paul McKinney. They were united in marriage on July 7, 1962 and spent fifty wonderful years of marriage before his death in 2012. To this union three sons were born, Joseph Daniel, Timothy Matthew and Stephen Mark.
She is survived by sons, Joseph Daniel McKinney and wife, Jodie Lynn, Timothy Matthew McKinney and Stephen Mark McKinney and wife, Rogia Annette, all of West Plains, Missouri. She is survived by her siblings, Paul Don Davis and wife, Wanda, Patsy Collins and husband, Tommy, and Fred Davis and wife, Teena, all of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Daniel McKinney and wife, Crystal, Korrie Vance and husband, Jermyn, Bethany Sullivan and husband, Mike, Mariah McKinney and Travis McKinney; four great grandchildren, Zade Cypret, Oliver McKinney, Sierra Sullivan and Sloan McKinney; a close friend, Larry Mullison of Saratoga, Wyoming; many nieces; nephews; cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Dorothy Davis; her husband, Paul McKinney; one great grandson, Axel Bo; two infant sisters, Wilma and Alma Jewel Davis; and one brother, Donald Lee Davis.
Wanda was excellent cook and enjoyed getting together with her family and friends for a good home cooked meal. She enjoyed jig saw puzzles, writing and playing games. She was a great listener and was known for giving out many words of wisdom.
She gave her heart to the Lord Jesus Christ early in life. She built her life on the Rock, knowing that was how her eternal soul would survive. She loved the Word of God, reading and studying faithfully. For many years, she taught young people at church, hoping to instill in them the love for Christ. Even as her health failed, she still attended and enjoyed church services.
She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, raising her family in the Way of Jesus Christ. As much as she loved her family, her heart and mind was set on “making it to her eternal home” with a great desire that all family and friends would follow. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.

Robert Eugene Phillips was born in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Clarence Eugene Phillips and Sylvia Alford Phillips on August 10, 1965, and departed this life on November 5, 2018 in Maywood, Illinois, at the age of 53 years.
He is survived by his two children, Sarah Phillips of Forest Park, Illinois and Christopher Phillips of Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers and one sister; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Sylvia Phillips; and one brother.
Robert worked for the United States Agriculture Department for fifteen years. He enjoyed nature and was an avid outdoorsman. His favorite pastime was going deer hunting and fishing.
He eventually went on to work for the United States Department of Treasury, where he retired after eleven dedicated years of service. Robert loved being able to do taxes for people, especially his family.
When he wasn’t working, Robert’s favorite hobbies included reading books, particularly mystery novels. He was also a great cook and loved making fried chicken, along with other delicious meals, for his family and friends.
Robert was a loving son, father, brother and friend. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.

Interment will be held at Cotton Creek Cemetery in Couch, Missouri following the funeral service.

Elizabeth Sue Ball was born in Manhattan, Kansas, the daughter of M.H. Swartz and Allene Cochran Swartz on September 12, 1934, and departed this life on November 6, 2018 in Ash Flat, Arkansas, at the age of 84 years.
She was united in marriage to Ralph William Ball in Peru, Indiana on August 20, 1955. He preceded her in death on January 1, 2004.
She is survived by her four children, Cynthia Simers of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Ralph Ball, Jr., and wife, Debra, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, Peggy Hickman and husband, J.L., of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Janet Young and husband, Marty, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; three brothers, Bill Swartz and wife, Carolyn, of Springfield, Missouri, Mike Swartz and wife, Shirley, of Topeka, Kansas, and Pat Swartz of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, Mary Lou Grant and husband, Jim, of Medical Lake, Washington; nine grandchildren, Earle Simers, Timothy Simers and wife, Cassie, Amanda Porter and husband, Tony, R.W. Ball III and wife, Heather, Justin Hickman, Nat Hickman and wife, Shanda, Bridget Goforth and husband, Brandon, Brittany Young, Chris Young and wife, Alex; thirteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, M.H. and Allene Swartz; and her husband, Ralph Ball.
Sue was a Christian and member of the Spring River Presbyterian Church in Hardy, Arkansas for many devoted years.
Sue was a dedicated homemaker and was very passionate about her farm. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and was an excellent seamstress. She will be remembered as an excellent cook and was known for making great cinnamon rolls and peanut brittle.
She spent many hours with her grandkids, teaching them to play board and card games, always striving to win. Sue enjoyed many things in life, but most of all she loved and cherished time spent with her children. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will dearly be missed by her family, friends and the community in which she lived.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas with Brother Robert Brown officiating.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri with arrangements under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
