Amy Jean (McDaniel) Borreson was born the daughter of Gary Dean McDaniel and Patricia Rose (Milligan) McDaniel on August 10, 1982, in Wichita, Kansas, and departed this life on July 24, 2016, in West Plains, Missouri, at the age of 33 years.
She was united in marriage in the state of Arkansas, to Chris Borreson, and to this union two children were born.
She is survived by her mother, Patricia McDaniel of Myrtle, Missouri; her father, Gary McDaniel; two children, Steven Kyle Borreson and Destinee Paige Borreson; one sister, Michelle Lynn Burrow of Myrtle, Missouri; four nieces and nephews, Tre McGhee, Ashlinne Burrow, Abbigail Burrow and Tristan McDaniel; her beloved dog, Molly; other relatives and many friends.
Amy was a graduate of Couch High School, graduating with the class of 2000. She attended a technical college, where she earned her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree. Amy cared for her patients with a servant’s heart, while working in local nursing homes and hospitals.
She loved music and especially liked to sing. Amy enjoyed playing pool and target practicing with friends. She also enjoyed bowling, both traditionally and on her Wii.
Amy was of the Baptist faith and will truly be missed by all.
Funeral services for Amy will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016, at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
