Tommy Gene Collins was born in Licking, Missouri , the son of Everett Collins and Flora “Adeline” (Thompson) Collins on July 24th, 1955 and departed this life on December 1st, 2015, at his home in Pomona, Missouri at the age of 60 years.
He was united in marriage September 2nd, 1977 at Lighthouse Church in Siloam Springs, Missouri to Robin Lee (Hill) Collins.
Tommy was a kind and humble person who loved his family. He demonstrated his love in a lot of ways, none greater than working hard to provide for his loved ones. Tommy found humor and the positive in people and their lives. He always wanted to do the right thing and was a role model for many. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. The memories we have of him will live on with us.
We can find comfort in knowing that Jesus is who he said He is – the Son of God.
“Martha said to him, I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day. Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies and whoever lives and believes I me will never die.”
