Terri L. Mask Kerns was born in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, the daughter of Willie Hugh “Bill” Mask and Audrey Irene Madden Mask on January 22, 1961 and departed this life on March 29, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 59 years.

She was united in marriage to John Kerns who preceded her in death.

Terri is survived by her companion, Allen Grady; her three sons, David Lee Kerns, Joseph Ray Kerns, and William Paul Nelson; her sister, Victoria Killey; other relatives; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kerns; her parents, Bill Mask and Audrey Madden; one infant sister, Patricia Mask; and one brother, Joe Mask.

Terri was a Christian with a big heart.

She loved her family and friends and would do anything possible to help them.  Terri cared about other people more than herself.  Her favorite saying was “I’m a dumb hillbilly redneck that would rather cut you than look at you if you mess with anybody I care about,” and she meant it.  She will truly be missed by her family and all that knew her.  Terri was loved by everybody that knew her.

Terri’s hobbies were crocheting, fishing, racing, singing and working in her garden.  She loved Elvis Presley

She was truly loved by her companion of seven and one-half years, Allen Grady.  He helped her hand and foot all the way to the bitter end.

Terri had a sister, not by blood, but by lover, her best friend, Tonya.  She was there for Terri any time of the day or night.

Her three boys, William, Joe and David were by her side and loved her more than life itself.  We will miss Mom, but we know she is in a better place with no more pain.  Terri Lynn Kerns is now having the biggest family reunion and smiling down on us all.    LOVE YOU.
