Tawni Cristeen Gross was born in Mendota, Illinois, the daughter of Scott Zurawski and Tabitha Pelc Zurawski on June 13, 1996 and departed this life on June 10, 2019 in Ravenden, Arkansas, at the age of 22 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Baizley Rudd of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; her parents, Scott and Tabitha Zurawski of Heber Springs, Arkansas; her siblings, Jolyssa Zurawski, Chelsie Zurawski, Damien Zurawski, Dillon Fox, Valerie Kossakowski, all of Illinois and Kylee Rudd of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; her grandparents, Michael Pelc, Carolyn Snow and Edith Zurawski; her second mom, Karen Mullins; her special friend, Cody Rudd; four aunts, Michelle Wright, Kelly Robinson, Dawn Wilson and Rocita Ramous; one uncle, Christopher Pelc; many cousins, nieces and nephews; other relatives; and countless friends.
Tawni spent many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Shady Oaks Healthcare in Thayer, Missouri. She loved being a mother and cherished her time with her daughter, Baizley. She also enjoyed time spent with her friends and family. She loved riding four-wheelers and going mudding in the back woods of Arkansas and going swimming in the river.
Tawni will be remembered as a loving and caring daughter, mother, sister and a friend to all. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri.
Family will receive friends on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 1:00 pm until service time at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel.
