Ronald Dean Collins was born March 7, 1968 in Pocahontas, Arkansas, the son of Donald Gene Collins and Fredia Davis Collins, and departed this life on May 8, 2021 at the age of 53.

He is survived by his parents, Donald and Fredia Collins; one daughter, Kristin Brown and her husband Andy; one son Reese Collins; two grandchildren, Cade Brown and Caroline Brown; one brother, Darrell Collins and his wife, Traci; special friend, Susan Jones, with whom he had a loving relationship; other relatives; and many friends.

 Ronnie was a cowboy and worked many jobs in sale barns and feed lots.  He was often around cattle.  He also was a dog trainer.  However, his greatest love was riding horses.  He even did cattle sorting on horseback.

He was a Christian and attended Baily Baptist Church in Alton, Missouri.

Ronnie will be truly missed by his family and many friends.

Graveside services for Ronald Dean Collins will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford Cemetery near Hardy, Arkansas.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home in Thayer, Missouri.

Burial will be on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 in Bradford Cemetery near Hardy, Arkansas with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.

    My thoughts are with Ronnie’s friends and family. I have many fond memories of Ronnie from riding horses and hanging out back in the day as gaggle of young friends. Many fun times, laughter, and friendship.
