Robert Lee “Bob” Threlkeld died April 29, 2011 at Indiana University Medical Center. Bob was born on November 10th, 1945, the son of Henry Franklin Threlkeld and Clara Martha Hampton Threlkeld in Koshkonong, Missouri.
Bob was self-employed throughout his life. His endeavors included trading cattle, dairy farming, West Plains Seed Company, and most recently working in salvage sales.
His parents, Henry and Clara and one sister, Ella Jean, preceded Bob in death. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Carlyn Williams Threlkeld, two daughters, Clara Jane Threlkeld and Robin Elizabeth Threlkeld both of Kansas City and two sons, Robert Lee “Deuce” Threlkeld II and Lucas Edward Threlkeld of Pomona. Other survivors include his sister, Shirley Florence Roberts, Topeka, Kansas; his brothers, William Henry “Bill” Threlkeld and James Edward “Jay” Threlkeld of Koshkonong and Harry Franklin Threlkeld of Whitney, Texas; two grandchildren, Davian and Destiny and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel at Thayer. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 4th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Koshkonong Cemetery in Koshkonong, Missouri with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.
