Memorial service for Ralph Ewing Paschall was held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church in West Plains, with Reverends Rick Rutledge and Mike Heston officiating.Arrangements by Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.

Ralph, 82, was born December 22, 1931 in Cottondale, Texas to the late Elmer and Margaret (Barefield) Paschall and diedĀ  October 9, 2014 in his home with his loved ones present.

He grew up in Bridgeport, Texas and after graduation enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and served in the North Atlantic during the Korean War. After the war, he returned to Texas and worked with his dad until 1962. He then moved to Missouri and worked as a sales representative retiring from Springfield Grocery in 1997.

Ralph married Betty Hayes December 30, 2001 in the First Christian Church. Ralph and Betty loved to travel but were always glad to return home. He was a 32nd degree Mason.

He isĀ  survived by his wife, Betty; daughters, Laurie, Julie, and Marva Lynn, and sons, Richard Mincher and Rockwell Mincher; sisters, Margaret Wood, Crowley, Texas and Marilyn Davis, Helena, Montana, and one sister-in-law, Barbara Paschall of Bridgeport, Texas, and eleven grandchildren, Eric Manley, Dusty Chayer, Jason Chayer, Ryan Chayer, Allen Kelly, Austin Kelly, Alex Kelly, Rachel Lockhart, Brittani Castle, Nealy Mincher, and Davis Mincher, and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Maurice, Ron, and Bill Paschall, and one sister, Sandra Paschall.

Burial will be East Side Cemetery, Bridgeport, Texas at a later date.

    Rest in Peace Uncle Ralph… my sympathy goes out to you at this time..
