Pearlena Harrell was born March 5, 1958 in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of Luther D. Qualls and Donna Dee Qualls, and departed this life on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the age of 63.
She was united in marriage on July 4, 1984 to Harvey Harrell who preceded her in death.
Pearlena was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Harrell; and her mother, Donna Dee Qualls.
She is survived by her father, Luther D. Qualls of Thayer, Missouri; two children, Matthew Harrell of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas and Maggie Walters and husband Dustin of Thayer, Missouri; three grandchildren, Briley Walters, Bristal Walters and Bayler Walters, all of Thayer, Missouri; three sisters, Nita Sandberg and husband Tom of New Brighton, Minnesota, Lee Ann Reed of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Roxy Andersen and husband Dana of Thayer, Missouri; other relatives; and many friends.
Pearlena graduated from Koshkonong High School in 1977 and held a variety of jobs. However, her main profession was as a homemaker. She took care of her husband and raised her children,
She was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.
Pearlena loved cooking and was the best cook especially for her family. She also liked gardening raising many beautiful flowers. However, her greatest pleasure was taking care of her children and grandchildren.
She will truly be missed by her family and all who knew her.
Funeral services for Pearlena Harrell will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Missouri with Pastor Stan Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home in Thayer, Missouri.
Burial will be on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in Walker Cemetery in Thayer, Missouri with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.
