Norman was one of the best people I have ever met. He genuinely cared about people, loved his family, and was a blessing in my life. I never saw him have a bad day. 🙂 Even if everything went wrong that could go wrong in the hayfield 🙂 Short Story : One day we was out in the hay field and nothing would work. Hay needed to be put away and rain was coming. I would have been cursing, throwing wrenches and trying to whip a hay bailer. Norman just stayed positive and kept sending Mark to get this and that. Try this and that. This went on for hours. At the end of the day he paid the crew their time. He showed me patience that day. I had never witnessed a farmer with patience :). And he felt horrible about taking my day and the boys day. I think it may have been Ian and Beau. He was so generous and caring for those boys. I will miss talking to Norman. We didn’t see each other often. But he was one of those guys I could visit with for hours. It was always a good chat and not long enough. I love you Norman.
