Naomi Ruth Combs was born in Couch, Missouri, the daughter of Tommy Combs and Jettie Cypret Combs on February 22, 1946. She departed this life on September 11, 2018, in Camdenton, Missouri, at the age of 72 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Penny Lee Combs of Camdenton, Missouri; two grandchildren, Krystle Combs and Brandon Combs of Camdenton, Missoouri; two special great grandchildren, Dominik Poling and Brooklynn Combs; two sisters, Charlotte Veasman and husband, Don of Brinktown, Missouri and Rosemary Rowden and husband, Wayne of Camdenton, Missouri;one sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Combs of Myrtle, Misssouri; three nephews, Wayne Combs, Bill Veasman and Andrew Rowden; five nieces, Donna Ludwig, Debbie Kern, April Rattell and Tina Jordan; several great nieces and great nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Jettie Combs and one brother, Charles Combs.
Naomi was a Christian, a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She was a graduate of Couch High School, graduating with the class of 1964. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Missouri University and became an Art teacher, teaching in various schools until her retirement.
She enjoyed gardening, especially her strawberry patch. She was a devoted Christian who spent much of her time studying The Word of God and witnessing to others.
She cherished time spent with her family, especially with her great grandchildren, Dominik and Brooklynn. She will truly be missed by her family and all who knew her.
Graveside services for Naomi Ruth Combs, age 72, of Camdenton, Missouri, formerly of ouch, Missouri, will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 3:00 PM in Cotton Creek Cemetery near Couch, Missouri.
Interment will be in Cotton Creek Cemetery near Couch, Missouri, with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.
