Arnetta Nadine (Case) Goodwin was born the daughter of Melvin Edward Case and Lillian Lottie Fay (Combs) Case on June 18, 1938, in Myrtle, Missouri and departed this life September 14, 2014, in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 76 years.

She was united in marriage on September 8, 1956, at Alton, Missouri to Asa Garrison.

On May 27, 1982, she was united in marriage at Las Vegas, Nevada to Charles Goodwin, who preceded her in death on July 31, 2010.

She is survived by three children, Pam DuBois of Myrtle, Missouri, Van Garrison and wife, Diane of Thayer, Missouri, and Donnie Garrison of Myrtle, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren, Erica Reynolds and Dewy DuBois, both of Hillsboro, Missouri, Shaina DuBois of Myrtle, Missouri, Brandon Childers, Mariah Childers, Amy Cypret, Annie Selfors, and Josh Garrison, all of Thayer, Missouri, Jamie Garrison of Springfield, Missouri, Amanda Floer of Leavenworth, Kansas, A.J. Garrison of Myrtle, Missouri, Amelia Crowder of Couch, Missouri, and Anthony Garrison and Brandy Garrison, both of Thayer, Missouri; eighteen great grandchildren, Morgan and Zach Reynolds, Abigail, Hannah and Rachel DuBois, Madison and Gabrielle DuBois, Adeline and Jasper Cypret, Caden Selfors, Gage Garrison, Emma and Olivia Floer, Parker, Riley and Ty Crowder, and Cailee and Camryn Garrison; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Lillian Case; her husband, Charlie Goodwin; one son, Randy Garrison; and two sisters, Sherry Collins and Daphine Case.

Nadine was a homemaker and enjoyed listening to oldies music and the Gaither Gospel Singers. Her favorite pastime was watching movies; shopping, especially for shoes and purses; and attending auctions.

Her happy spirit and jolly laugh will truly be missed by her family and her friends at National Healthcare.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel at Thayer.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Burial will be in the Thayer Cemetery with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer.
